Keep your Bathing Suit Looking as Good as New

If you are a water lover, whether you spend more time in a hot tub or pool, you know that chlorine is bad for your clothing(i.e. bathing suit). So what exactly can you do about it? If you're like me, it takes you FOREVER to find the perfect bathing suit. And you want to keep it looking nice as long as possible. They can get pretty pricey! You can always save your favorite swimsuit for opportunities to show it off. Or swim in the nude if you'd like and it's allowed (your own pool or hot tub is ideal lol). To help keep your clothing looking nice as long as possible:
  • Soak it in a solution of four tablespoons of vinegar in a gallon of water for half an hour. Rinse in cold water.
  • Rinse the suit before and after using the pool or hot tub. The wet suit absorbs less chlorine. Rinsing it out afterwards get rid of what it absorbed.
All the chemicals don't just fade your clothing, they also weaken the fabric! That's why it's recommended to hand wash your swimsuits. Don't forget to check out for more blogs!
