This is an air relief valve it used on many Sta-Rite Filters. This part comes with the O-Ring to help create a water tight fight when you plug your air relief into the filter. This valve let's you release pressure from the Filter when you see that it is too high. A high pressure can cause many problems such as equipment damage.
